Ingredients

  • 1 bag of Cavendish Farms Flavour Crisp Classic Straight Cut Fries
  • 1 tablespoon of parsley, roughly chopped
  • 500 g (1lb) chicken breast
  • 1 cup butter
  • ½ onion, minced
  • 1 tablespoon of minced garlic
  • 1 can (15 oz) tomato sauce
  • 3 cups heavy cream
  • 2 teaspoons of salt
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garam masala
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 tablespoons tandoori masala

Directions

  1. Cook Cavendish Farms Classic Straight Cut Fries in an oven or air fryer according to package directions.
  2. Cut the chicken breast into smaller cubes.
  3. Melt a few tablespoons of butter in a pan over medium heat. Add onion and garlic to the pan and cook for 15 minutes until dark brown. Remove from pan and set aside.
  4. Turn up the pan to medium-heat and add in the remaining butter, tomato sauce, heavy cream, salt, cayenne pepper and garam masala. Bring to a simmer, then reduce heat to medium-low; cover and simmer for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. Stir in caramelized onions after 30 minutes.
  5. While the sauce is simmering, add in the cubed chicken, then season with tandoori masala. Simmer on medium—low heat for another 10-15 minutes or until chicken is fully cooked.
  6. Once the Classic Straight Cut Fries are cooked, transfer to a large plate.
  7. Top the fries off with the butter chicken sauce. Garnish with some roughly chopped parsley and serve.
