Butter Chicken Poutine

Ingredients
- 1 bag of Cavendish Farms Flavour Crisp Classic Straight Cut Fries
- 1 tablespoon of parsley, roughly chopped
- 500 g (1lb) chicken breast
- 1 cup butter
- ½ onion, minced
- 1 tablespoon of minced garlic
- 1 can (15 oz) tomato sauce
- 3 cups heavy cream
- 2 teaspoons of salt
- 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 teaspoon garam masala
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 2 tablespoons tandoori masala
Directions
- Cook Cavendish Farms Classic Straight Cut Fries in an oven or air fryer according to package directions.
- Cut the chicken breast into smaller cubes.
- Melt a few tablespoons of butter in a pan over medium heat. Add onion and garlic to the pan and cook for 15 minutes until dark brown. Remove from pan and set aside.
- Turn up the pan to medium-heat and add in the remaining butter, tomato sauce, heavy cream, salt, cayenne pepper and garam masala. Bring to a simmer, then reduce heat to medium-low; cover and simmer for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. Stir in caramelized onions after 30 minutes.
- While the sauce is simmering, add in the cubed chicken, then season with tandoori masala. Simmer on medium—low heat for another 10-15 minutes or until chicken is fully cooked.
- Once the Classic Straight Cut Fries are cooked, transfer to a large plate.
- Top the fries off with the butter chicken sauce. Garnish with some roughly chopped parsley and serve.
