Slow Cooker Chili Cheese Fries

Prep: 15 minutes | Cook: 6 Hours | Serves: 6-8

Ingredients

  • 1 bag of Cavendish Farms Extra Thin Gourmet Fries
  • 1 ½ pounds lean ground beef
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 1 cup shredded cheese
  • 1 small green bell pepper chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 (16-ounce) cans red kidney beans, rinsed and drained
  • 2 (14-1/2-ounce) cans diced tomatoes
  • 2-3 tablespoons chili powder
  • Salt and Pepper to taste

Directions

  1. Cook the ground beef large skillet over medium-high heat, stirring until beef crumbles and is no longer pink; drain. Place the cooked ground beef and remaining ingredients in slow cooker. Cook at HIGH 3 to 4 hours or at LOW 5 to 6 hours.
  2. 15 minutes, prior to serving, cook the fries according to the package directions.
  3. To serve, layer chili over fries and top with shredded cheese and sour cream.
