One part hash brown. One part waffle. All parts delicious! These hash brown waffles make breakfast so irresistible that you’ll crave them all day and all night. Serve them in the morning with a side of your favourite breakfast foods, snack on them in the afternoon, or switch up your dinner routine by subbing these in for your usual fries.
Ingredients
- 1 bag of Cavendish Farms All-Day Breakfast Hash Brown Waffles
- 2 whole eggs
- 2 slices of your favourite ham
- 1 cup of your favourite fruit
- 3 egg yolks
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ½ cup melted unsalted butter
- 1 teaspoon of chives, roughly chopped
- 1 teaspoon vinegar
- Salt and pepper, to season
Directions
- Preheat air fryer to 400°F.
- Spread a single layer Cavendish Farms All-Day Breakfast Hash Brown Waffles in air fryer and cook according to package directions.
- To make poached eggs, bring a large pot of water to boil, then reduce heat to low. Stir the vinegar into the water and create a vortex. Crack the egg to the middle of the vortex and cook for 3 minutes.
- Remove the egg after 3 minutes, placing into ice water to stop the egg from cooking and set aside.
- To make hollandaise sauce, add egg yolk, lemon juice, Dijon mustard and salt into a blender and blend for 5 minutes. With the blender running on medium high, slowly stream the hot butter into the mixture until emulsified.
- Assemble your eggs benedict by layering one Cavendish Farms All-Day Breakfast Hash Brown Waffles, one slice of your favourite ham, one poached egg and a drizzle of hollandaise sauce. Garnish with chives and serve with a side of your favourite fruit!
