Ingredients
- 1 bag of Cavendish Farms FlavourCrisp Crispy Classic Straight Cut Fries
- 1 12 oz block firm or extra-firm tofu
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 3 tablespoons vegetable oil or olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- ½ teaspoon red chili flakes
- 1 teaspoon black and white sesame seeds
- 1 green onion, finely chopped
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Directions
- Preheat air fryer to 400°F.
- Cook Cavendish Farms FlavourCrisp Crispy Classic Straight Cut Fries in the air fryer according to package directions.
- Drain block of tofu and press with a plate for 10 minutes to remove extra liquid.
- In a bowl, mix brown sugar, soy sauce, vegetable or olive oil, garlic, ginger, lemon juice and red chilli flakes.
- Cut pressed tofu into 1” cube. Combine tofu into marination, toss to coat marinade on tofu and set aside for 30 minutes.
- In the second air fryer basket, add marinated tofu and cook for 10-15 minutes or until light golden colour.
- Serve Cavendish Farms FlavourCrisp Crispy Classic Straight Cut Fries on a plate. Layer with ginger soy marinated tofu. Garnish with green onion and enjoy!
