Waffle Fry Pulled BBQ Chicken Sliders

Ingredients

  • 1 540g bag of Cavendish Farms Restaurant Style Waffle Fries
  • 2 cups pulled roasted chicken (make your own or buy at store)
  • 1/3 cup prepared BBQ sauce
  • 2 cups coleslaw mix
  • 1 small red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tsp pure maple syrup
  • 1/2 tsp celery seeds
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Directions

  1. Pre-heat oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Spread Cavendish Farms Restaurant Style Drive-Thru fries in a single layer on a non-stick baking sheet and bake for 10 minutes to a golden colour. Flip fries and bake for 10 to 15 minutes to a light golden colour.
  3. Meanwhile, in a large bowl, combine shredded chicken and barbecue sauce. Heat to warm.
  4. In medium bowl, combine slaw ingredients and mix well. Set aside
  5. Top half of the waffle fries with a few spoons of chicken mixture and a spoon of slaw. Place another waffle fry on top. Secure with a tooth pick, if desired.
  6. Serve and enjoy!
