Slow Cooker Queso with FlavourCrisp Classic Oven Chips

Ingredients

  • 1 bag of Cavendish Farms FlavourCrisp Classic Oven Chips
  • 2 cups pepper jack cheese
  • Shredded 1 cup American cheese
  • 2 teaspoons cornstarch
  • 1 (10-ounce) can diced tomatoes with chiles
  • 1 (12-ounce) can evaporated milk
  • Kosher salt
  • Finely chopped green onion, sliced lime, chopped cilantro leaves, for serving

Directions

  1. Preheat oven and cook FlavourCrisp Classic Oven Chips as directed.
  2. In a slow cooker, toss both cheeses with cornstarch to evenly coat. Stir in tomatoes and evaporated milk; season with salt.
  3. Cover and cook on low until mixture is bubbling and thickened slightly, 2 to 2 1/2 hours. Uncover and stir until smooth. Season with more salt and garnish with onion, jalapeños, and cilantro. Serve with tortilla chips on the side.
  4. Top with chopped green onion, sliced lime, chopped cilantro leaves, Enjoy!
