All-Seasoned Kettle-Style Wedges
Who needs takeout when you’ve got Cavendish Farms Restaurant Style All-Seasoned Kettle-Style Wedges? These new jumbo wedges are as big in taste as they are in size. Seasoned to perfection, the skin-on wedges give you crispy, restaurant-inspired flavours. Serve them as a side, loaded up with your favourite toppings, or dip them for a gourmet snack. Made in Canada from domestic and imported ingredients.
Ingredients
- 1 bag of Cavendish Farms Restaurant Style Kettle Style Wedges
- 500 g (1lb) chicken breast
- ¼ cup olive oil
- Bamboo skewers
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- Salt & Pepper
- 2 tablespoons of lemon juice
Directions
- Cook Cavendish Farms Kettle Style Wedges according to package directions.
- Chop the chicken breast into 11 bite sized chunks then place in a large bowl.
- Combine the olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, oregano, salt and pepper. Mix well and allow to marinate in the fridge for 2 hours.
- 30 minutes before cooking, soak bamboo skewers in boiling water. Cook Cavendish Farms Kettle-Style Wedges.
- When you are ready to cook the chicken, thread the chicken onto the soaked skewers. Preheat a grill until hot then cook the chicken for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown all over and cooked through. Remove from the heat and allow to rest for 5 mins.
- Serve the cooked chicken souvlaki with your favorite Greek salad and some Kettle-Style Wedges on the side.
