Cranberry Baked Brie with Waffle Fries

Ingredients
- 1 bag of Cavendish Farms Restaurant Style Waffle Fries
- 1 8oz wheel brie cheese, rind trimmed
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- ¼ cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 2 tablespoons maple syrup
- 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
- ¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon
- Pinch of nutmeg
- Zest of 1 orange
- ½ cup pecan halves, chopped
- ¼ cup cranberries
- ½ cup walnuts, chopped
Directions
- Preheat oven to 425°F.
- Cook Cavendish Farms Restaurant Style Waffle Fries in an oven according to package directions. Remove cooked fries and set aside
- Lower pre-heated oven to 350°F. Place brie on a rimmed baking sheet or a 5-inch cast iron skillet, sprinkle 2 tablespoons of brown sugar on top and bake for 12-15 minutes. Remove brie from oven and set aside for 5 minutes to cool.
- In a medium heated saucepan, combine remaining brown sugar, honey, maple syrup, butter, cinnamon, nutmeg and orange zest. Bring the mixture to a boil and reduce heat and simmer, stirring occasionally until foamy for about 1-2 minutes. Stir in pecans and cranberries.
- Garnish brie with cranberry mixture, walnuts, and remaining orange zest. Add Cavendish Farms Restaurant Style Waffle Fries on the side and enjoy!
