Cacio E Pepe Dip with Spicy Cracked Pepper Fries

Ingredients

  • 1 bag of Cavendish Farms FlavourCrisp Spicy Cracked Pepper
  • 1 tablespoon of butter
  • 1 tablespoon of all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup of whole milk
  • 2 tablespoon parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoon Pecorino Romano
  • ¾ cup Monterey Jack
  • 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon of onion powder
  • Salt and pepper, to season

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 450°F.
  2. Spread frozen fries in a single layer on a non-stick baking sheet and bake according to packaging directions.
  3. To a medium-size heated pan, add butter and flour and mix until a roux is formed. Add whole milk and whisk until roux is dissolved.
  4. Season the sauce with salt, pepper, garlic, and onion powder. Mix for 1 min and add parmesan cheese, Pecorino Romano, and Monterey Jack. Mix until all cheese is melted.
  5. Serve the sauce in a dip bowl and garnish with freshly cracked black pepper. Serve with a side of Cavendish Farms Restaurant Style Gourmet Frites Extra Thin with Cracked Pepper Fries. Enjoy!
