Philly Cheesesteak Waffle Fry Skillet

Ingredients

  • 1 bag of Cavendish Farms Restaurant Style Waffle Fries
  • 1 lb sirloin steak, thinly sliced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil, divided
  • 1 yellow onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 4 sliced provolone cheese
  • 1/4 cup parsley, chopped

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F.
  2. Spread Waffle Fries in a single layer on a non-stick baking sheet and cook according to packaging instructions.
  3. To prep, pat dry and slice the sirloin. Season generously with salt and pepper.
  4. Heat 1 tbsp of olive oil in a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat. Add thinly sliced onion and bell pepper. Cook for 5 - 7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until softened and lightly charred. Transfer to a plate.
  5. Add the remaining tbsp of oil to the skillet. Cook thinly sliced sirloin for 2 - 3 minutes until browned. Transfer to a plate.
  6. Layer cooked Waffle Fries, sautéed veggies, and sirloin in the skillet. Top with provolone slices.
  7. Place the skillet in the oven for 1-2 minutes until the cheese melts and bubbles. Garnish with parsley.
