Prep: 10 min | Cook: 15 - 20 min | Serves: 4

Ingredients

  • 1 bag of Cavendish Farms Quick Crisp Onion Rings
  • 2 tbsp ketchup
  • 2 tbsp mayo
  • 1 tbsp mustard
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp pickle brine
  • 1 lb ground beef, divided into 4 portions
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 slices cheddar cheese
  • 4 brioche hamburger buns
  • 1 cup iceberg lettuce, shredded
  • 1 vine ripe tomato, sliced
  • 2 pickles, sliced

Directions

  1. Preheat air fryer to 400°F.
  2. Spread Onion Rings in a single layer in the air fryer basket and cook according to packaging instructions.
  3. To prep, whisk ketchup, mayo, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and pickle brine in a small bowl. Set aside.
  4. Heat a cast-iron skillet over medium-high heat. Form the ground beef into 4 equal-sized balls and place them on the skillet, being careful not to overcrowd the pan. Smash each ball with a spatula to form a patty. You can use a square of parchment between the spatula and the patty to prevent sticking. Season with salt and pepper and cook for 3 - 4 minutes per side until the patties are well-browned. Add a slice of cheddar cheese to each patty in the last minute of cooking.
  5. After the burgers cook, lightly toast the brioche buns on the skillet.
  6. Spread house sauce on both the top and bottom buns. Layer on the shredded iceberg lettuce, sliced tomato, smashed burger patty with melted cheese, a few pickles, and top with two cooked Onion Rings.
