Masala Sweet Potato Fries with Yogurt Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 bag of Cavendish Farms FlavourCrisp Sweet Potato Straight Cut Fries
  • 3/4 cup plain yogurt
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1/2 tsp lime juice
  • 1 tsp salt, divided
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne
  • 1/2 tsp chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp ground cumin
  • 1/2 tsp ground coriander
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 cilantro, chopped
  • 2 scallions, chopped
  • 1 red chili pepper, sliced
  • Lime wedges

Directions

  1. Preheat air-fryer to 400°F.
  2. Spread Sweet Potato Fries in a single layer in air-fryer basket and cook according to packaging instructions.
  3. To prep, mix yogurt, minced garlic, lime juice, and 1/2 tsp salt in a mixing bowl. Taste and adjust seasoning. Set aside.
  4. Heat a small skillet over medium-low heat. Add smoked paprika, cayenne, chili powder, cumin, coriander, garlic powder, and remaining salt. Dry-toast the spices for 1-2 minutes, stirring constantly, until fragrant and slightly darkened.
  5. Toss cooked Sweet Potato Fries in a large bowl with spice mix until evenly coated.
  6. Pile seasoned Sweet Potato Fries on a serving platter. Garnish with cilantro, chopped scallions, and sliced chili peppers, and serve with yogurt sauce and lime wedges.
