Buffalo-Style Spicy Fries

1 bag FlavourCrisp Spicy Cracked Pepper (750g)
5 tbsp butter, melted
5 tbsp hot sauce
1 pinch salt
1 pinch pepper
½ cup ranch and/or blue cheese dressing, optional
4 celery sticks, optional
4 carrot sticks, optional



  1. Preheat oven to 450° F. 
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the melted butter and hot sauce and mix well.

    Note: Sauce will solidify if chilled – if necessary, heat for a short time in a microwave to loosen sauce.
  3. Place Spicy Straight Cut fries in a single layer on a non-stick baking sheet and bake for 10 minutes. 
  4. Turn fries over and cook for another 7-12 minutes or until desired crispness; then remove from oven. 
  5. Place fries in a mixing bowl and sprinkle with salt and pepper. 
  6. Pour half of the sauce mixture over the fries and toss gently so that all of the fries are coated with the sauce. Pour remaining sauce (or desired amount) over fries and toss again or drizzle over top. 
  7. Place tossed fries on a plate and serve with any remaining sauce as a dip.

    Note: Ranch and/or blue cheese dressing can be served as additional dips.

    Note: Carrot and/or celery sticks can also be served to compliment the fries and the dips.
