|2 cups||Sirloin Beef, cut into 1” cubes|
|½ pkg ||Simply Homestyle Hearty Red Skin Diced|
|1 cup||Turnip, cubed|
|1 cup||Carrots, cut in half lengthwise|
|1 cup||Celery, chopped|
|3½ cups||Beef Broth|
|1 each||Bay Leaf|
|1 tsp||Thyme, chopped|
|¼ cup||All-Purpose Flour|
|10 each||Sugar Snap or Snow Peas, optional|
|3/8 cup||Corn, optional|
|3/8 cup||Green Peas, optional|
Heat oil in a large non-stick skillet or frying pan over medium-high heat. Add stew meat; cook until browned. Drain grease.
In a slow-cooker, combine browned meat and all remaining ingredients except water and flour. Cover and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours.
In small bowl, combine water and flour; stir until mixture is smooth. Slowly stir flour mixture into stew. Increase heat to high. Cover; cook 15 minutes or until slightly thickened.
