3/8 cupAll-Purpose Flour
½ tspSalt
½ tspCoarse Ground Pepper
2 cupsProtein (Beef, Lamb or Chicken, cut into cubes
1 TbspVegetable Oil
1 cupOnion, chopped
1 tspGarlic, finely chopped
½ pkgTMSimply Homestyle Golden Harvest Wedges
1 cupCarrots, thick cut
2 cupsBeef broth
1 TbspTomato Paste
1 tspThyme, chopped
1½ tspParsley, chopped
3/8 cupZucchini, optional
3/8 cupTurnip/Squash, optional



  1. In a plastic re-sealable bag combine flour, desired salt and pepper. Add meat. Shake to coat meat with flour.
  2. Heat oil in a large non-stick skillet or frying pan over medium-high heat. Add stew meat, onion, and garlic. Cook, stirring occasionally until meat is browned. Drain grease.
  3. Transfer to slow-cooker and add all remaining ingredients except parsley. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low; cover. Continue cooking, stirring occasionally, until meat and vegetables are tender (60 to 70 minutes).
  4. Stir in parsley before serving.
